Eight. The maximum tension of pipeline or overhead optical cable shall not exceed 1500N when laying, and the maximum tension of direct buried optical cable shall not exceed 3000N when laying.

 

Nine. When the optical cable is constructed and positioned, it shall not bend or form a 90-degree right Angle bend. Dynamic zigzag (as in construction), the radius of zigzag should be more than 20 times of the outer diameter of the cable for pipelines and overhead cables. For direct buried optical cable, the winding radius should be more than 25 times the outer diameter of the optical cable. When laying and positioning, the winding radius should be greater than 10 times of the cable radius for pipelines and overhead cables. For direct buried optical cable, the winding radius should be greater than 12.5 times the outer diameter of the optical cable. Do not avoid the severe twists and turns of the cable leading to a "dead lock".

 

Ten. During the construction of optical cable, the tension shall not exceed the allowable time and short force (pipeline, overhead optical cable: 1500N; Direct buried optical cable: 3000N; ADSS optical cable: 20%RTS), the operation and use should not exceed the provisions that allow long time force (pipeline, overhead optical cable 600N; Direct buried optical cable 1000N; ADSS optical cable: MAT. The construction of optical cable should be conducted under the guidance of qualified technicians.
